Charity Hop was founded by amateur baseball teammates, Brett Rudy and Mike Lembo. Recognizing a glaring need for fundraising assistance to sports related organizations and charities, the duo started the full service consulting business in 2006. With a vast array of clients and causes, Charity Hop has made their impact in the philanthropic community and beyond.

About Our Capabilities

Sports Marketing Consulting
Charity Hop offers athletes and organizations an array of services to generate revenue or cut costs. Consulting services include development of brand promotion or marketing programs, idea generation and implementation, merchandise tie-ins, promotional opportunities and more. As example, we recently assisted a major league baseball team to identify revenue opportunities for their 2009 season, ranging from ticket sale maximization to promotional events. Charity Hop was also recently tasked by Crystal Pix to nationally promote their baseball documentary entitled Signs of the Time and coordinate casting of an A-List voice talent.

Event Planning & Implementation
Charity Hop has planned an implemented successful events with athletes across MLB, NFL and NHL. Sports event are often on-field fundraisers, such as the 100 Innings of Baseball game run for Curt Schilling of the Red Sox for 5 straight years. We also plan more formal events at prime venues intended to generate awareness or fundraise. As example, we have managed parties in Philadelphia with Mike Schmidt to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, in Cincinnati with Ken Griffey, Jr. to raise awareness about his foundation, in Miami with Dan Marino to raise awareness about autism, and many others.

Product Development & Deployment
Charity Hop became well known for launching Charity Wines for dozens of professional athletes. For this venture, proceeds from sale of each bottle of wine went to the charity of the athlete's choice. Clients range from Red Sox slugger David Ortiz to Braves slugger Chipper Jones. Another successful venture was the entry into the glassware category nationally with the Corked Bat Collection -- baseball bat decanters. Charity Hop has relationships with athletes ranging from candy launches to children's toys. Our track record proves that we know how to develop a product, market it, and get it distributed and sold.
