Gridiron Cellars from Charity Wines
Objective: After success in the Boston market with Red Sox wines in the summer of 2007, Vinlozano Imports (aka Charity Wines) with the help of Charity Hop, looked to expand their line into football -- leveraging NFL and New Orleans Saints superstar quarterbacks Drew Brees and Bobby Hebert -- with proceeds going to charity.
Result: A current and former legendary quarterback from the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees and Bobby Hebert, each agreed to launch their own wine label with proceeds benefiting their charity of choice. Wine is being distributed across Louisiana and surrounding area stores and restaurants beginning the week of November 11, 2007. Expected retail is about $12.
